For this year's Unscripted Shakespeare Festival, Letter of Marque Theater Company presents Soundpainted Shakespeare: A Midsummer Night's Dream! What is soundpainting? A live composition technique where a conductor issues a series of handsignals to direct the performers' actions in real time. Get ready for a unique play on this familiar story that remixes the original text with improvised scenes and surprises. Is there a better Shakespeare character outside of Midsummer to match Helena's freak? What if Oberon and Titania just went to couples counseling? The Rude Mechanicals doing interpretive dance? Anything is possible!
